Snowman’s attack

We are being snowed in again. As I write this, snow is falling outside and has been falling for over 24 hours. More than 50 cm of snow fell and, needless to say, the city is paralyzed. Traffic jams, people arriving late to work (if they even arrive)… And coupled with that, the weather forecast is not looking shiny either. Snow is expected to fall for the rest of the week (and today is Monday :) ).

Dalai Lama’s rules of happiness

I found these ‘rules’ (or better to say thoughts) while surfing the net the other day and thought I’d share them with you since they are beautiful, simple and yet totally true :) It said they were written by Dalai Lama, but I have no way of verifiying that. And even if the part about the author is false, these thoughts are really to beautiful not to share (and too beautiful to to ignore just because, maybe, author is somebody else and not Dalai Lama).

Money point of view

There are many theories and many opinions on money. Some consider it a root of all evil, others say you have to love money in order to attract it and be rich. Both sides have valid arguments for their points of view and both have numerous followers. And both are right, up to a point.

Truly wonderful layers of comfort

Layers upon layers

Today while I was going to the bank I had a strange idea of writing an article I didn’t have in my head. I went to a bank because my car load payment was overdue and the bank was pressuring me to pay.

While I was walking to the bank I had a peculiar problem I was not aware of? It was as physical in nature as mental too. Problem was the layer of physical comfort and what I was wearing was jacket, pair of leather gloves, a cap for my head, scarf, small portable umbrella and document bag with belt over my shoulder. It was comfy setting :) Read the rest of this entry »
